BARBI MCSWAIN

Barbi McSwain is an educator, writer, mother, “grandlady,” and native Texan. After a lengthy teaching career, she began writing print and online curriculum in 2007. With a focus on reading and English language arts (ELA), she has written elementary and middle school curriculum for Cambium Learning, Edmentum, Reading A-Z, Pearson, Curriculum Associates, Learning Without Tears, and more.

Her reimagined Bible stories go beyond the scriptures to immerse the reader in a biblical setting where they meet the people of the scriptures as well as imagined characters. Through carefully crafted storytelling, she brings to life biblical truths that will surprise readers and challenge them to think deeper about their faith.
